**REMINDER TO KEEP YOUR DOORS LOCKED** We received a report from a homeowner that their front door video camera captured a man dressed as an Amazon delivery driver trying to enter their unit. The man walked up and set a package down, then tried the doorknob. Finding it locked, he picked the package up and walked away. This happened Thursday afternoon in plain sight and took all of 10 seconds. Stay vigilant and keep your doors locked, even if just walking to the clubhouse to get your mail. If there are any other known instances of this happening, please let us know.

A board member has moved, leaving a seat open through election time next year. If you’re an owner who’d like to take part in helping to manage our property and have a say in how your dues are spent, this is a great opportunity to become involved. The Board of Directors is excited to announce that we are transitioning to a new community management firm. Effective February 1, 2022, Trestle Community Management will become our managing agent.

What does this mean for you as an owner?
Owners will now have a new point of contact for our community, payment of monthly dues, and maintenance. Our new property manager at Trestle is Krishinda San Juan and can be reached at (425) 800-6339 or via email at [email protected]. Krishinda is very excited to be working with our community and the Board of Directors. If you have questions or requests prior to Feb 1st you can find the relevant contact info on the MercerPark.Org contact page as well as a community portal link (once available).

All owners will be receiving a Welcome Letter from Trestle through US Mail. The letter will contain your new account number, as well as instructions on how to create a portal login and information on payment options.

If you have ACH auto-pay with our current management, please note this information will not transfer to Trestle. You will need to enroll in Recurring Payments through Trestle’s My-Community Portal.

All the recycle bins in the complex are overflowing. Please hold onto your recyclables until they are next emptied. Piling them on top of the bins or on the ground just makes it more likely that the driver won't stop at your enclosure. That means your dues go towards hiring someone to clean up the mess, as happened last week.

Sharing this service alert from Republic Services:

Due to a temporary work stoppage led by union members from out of state, we are unable to service customers as scheduled Wednesday, January 12, 2022. Affected customers can put out all household waste accumulated since their last pickup at no extra charge on their next regular service collection day. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

Folks, the trash and recycling areas are all full-up. Please do NOT put anything else in those areas or the drivers will not pick up. I called them this morning and they said drivers couldn't access the bins. I asked them to please stop by again, but we need to clear room for them to pull out the bins. Please help ensure pickup by cleaning the enclosures by your building. Thanks.

1. Ice melt and shovels will be available soon in the clubhouse for residents' use. Please bring your own container for the ice melt, which should be sprinkled over cleared stairs and sidewalks.

2. A volunteer crew is headed out at noon to shovel the driveway. Join us if you're free. The more of us there are, the faster it will go. If this snowfall keeps up we may need a second round later today.

PSE is estimating 5pm today (Monday) for power restoration. Will update if that changes.

Big tree fell across 118th and took the power lines down. No going left out of the complex this morning. Gonna be awhile. Break out those camp stoves ☕️
