The 2026 King County Assessor revaluation season has begun! Currently only the residential area of Algona/Pacific/Lakeland Hills has been mailed out. Below is a link to the 2026 Residential Area Reports, which will be updated throughout the revalue notification period that typically runs through September. Note that you only have 60 days from the mailing date to file an appeal. If you would like a complimentary analysis of the 2026 assessment, please contact our office as soon as you receive your revalue notice. We can let you know if an appeal is warranted.

It is getting close to that time of year when the King County Assessor mails the 2026 revalue notices for taxes payable in 2027. In fact, you may have received solicitation letters from other companies that state that you must file an appeal by July 1st, 2026, in King County.
This is incorrect; the deadline to appeal is 60 days from the mail date on the revalue notice. Revalues in King County will start being mailed soon and will go out once a week through October, based on area or type of property.

It's that time of the year for 2026 property valuation notices to be mailed out to taxpayers. Yakima County sent out notices on May 27, 2026, and the taxpayer has 60 days from the mailing date to file an appeal. Kittitas County mailed out notices on June 1, 2026, but note that taxpayers only have 30 days from the mailing date to file an appeal. Please contact our office as soon as possible if you would like a complimentary analysis of your 2026 assessment.

2026 Property Tax season is underway. The 2026 levy rates have been released, and here is the link to King County. Property Tax bills should start going out on February 13, 2026.
