🎨 Colors that sold for more:
Sage green tested as the single most universally appealing color, scoring well in every room. A warm chocolate brown bedroom added over $2,200 to offer price. Charcoal gray and pale blue living rooms also beat plain white by $1,500+.

đźš« The one to skip:
Ochre yellow. Painted broadly through a home, it was linked to a swing of more than $18,000 below expected value — the biggest single-color risk in the whole study.

The lesson isn’t “go bold everywhere” — it’s that the right warm, grounded neutral does more for your sale than a fresh coat of builder-white will.
