Some deals take weeks, others take years. For Jason Suchecki, this one was five years in the making and it was worth every second.

Jason was hired to sell the iconic Houston-area landmark, The Hop, but when the owner wasn't quite ready to step away from his 38-year legacy, Jason played the long game. He nurtured the buyer relationships off-market for half a decade until the moment was right, ultimately closing the deal with a buyer who made one of the initial offers years ago!

Even better? The building’s history. It has been a post office, an auto shop, a burger joint, and the original mechanic-owner even buried car engines under the six foundation columns to keep the building from sinking.
