I relocated to Bellingham WA 6 years ago this week. These past 6 years have been a huge time of growth, and love, and happiness.

I have been selling real estate for 22 years next month. I have always loved this career , but since my relocation I have fallen in love with real estate a whole new way. Every house is different here, every neighborhood has a profoundly different feel, and the charm of the area never ceases to amaze me. Plus I have had the most amazing clients that have become my friends and family.

This year, someone (dying to know who) has nominated me for the Bellingham Herald’s Cascade’s Best. I am humbled to be among the best of the best nominated for this honor. We, the real estate brokers, noticed it right away when the market shifted a few weeks ago. Bellingham, almost overnight, went from being a steaming hot real estate market, to not. I think most real estate brokers were surprised, as I was, how quickly the cool down happened. As a real estate agent it’s important to listen to my clients, and then to guide them to how to achieve their goals. It’s an intimate relationship created between a real estate broker and their clients during a transaction. A broker is privy to so many of the “whys” in a client’s life. We learn the dreams and the goals of our clients early on, and understand reasons someone is looking to buy or sell. It’s intimate, which is why choosing the right agent for you is so important. I recently moved out of Sudden Valley. I lived in my little blue house in between Gates 9 and 13 for four years.
