I walked into this kitchen and immediately thought, "Yep...this is where everyone hangs out."

The 11-foot island, the Thermador range, the pot filler…it actually reminded me of my mom, who designed kitchens here in Bellingham for years. She was always trying to sneak a pot filler into the plan. 😂

And the way this kitchen opens to the great room just makes it feel like the gathering place.

What I wasn't expecting, though, was how peaceful the setting felt. Eagles soaring overhead, foothill views, and just a peek of Lake Whatcom in the distance.

I’ve sold some houses in my career but perhaps my largest and most meaningful accomplishment occurred today when I hiked the Sehome arboretum and came upon a lost chicken, so I scaled the hillside to rescue it and it turned out to be one of my fellow realtors’ pets 😂
