April market stats are in for Whatcom County and its communities — and if you’re a buyer, this might be your moment. 📊🏡

Inventory is up significantly across the board — Lynden alone saw a 48% jump in total listings year over year, and Whatcom County as a whole is sitting at 709 active residential listings. More homes, more options, more negotiating power. We haven’t seen supply like this in a while.

And here’s a fun one for Bellingham fans: 131 new listings hit the market in April alone — that’s the same number as a year ago, meaning the city is consistently delivering fresh inventory every single month. With a median price of $748K and homes closing at nearly 100% of list price, Bellingham buyers are serious — and now they finally have more to choose from.

Prices are holding relatively steady county-wide at $625K median — flat year over year — so you’re getting more selection without a big spike in cost. If you’ve been waiting for the right time to start your home search, the inventory is telling you something.

On Wednesday night I went to the Mel Robbins “Let Them Tour” with my daughter in Seattle and honestly… we couldn’t stop thinking about how much the “Let Them” theory applies to real estate too.
