My buyer needed help relocating to NJ. We scheduled a showing and it just so happens that the first house we saw was perfect for him. Manageable, renovated and we were able to negotiate a perfect price AND sellers's concession to help with closing! Everything went smooth with the home inspection and the solar transfer. Everyone is happy! Of course until we found out the lender wasn't being so honest with us. The morning of closing, the lender informed the buyer that he wouldn't be able to close due to his credit score dropping after doing a Rescore. The lender wasn't very responsive when asked what exactly was delaying it. They continued to ask for "just one more day" numerous times and placed blame on title. They then proceeded to give the buyer the wrong amount and there was risk of him not closing on his home while at the closing table. Thank you to Heather Reese, David Betts @ SJS Title and Rebecca DiSandro for assist on making this happen. Everyone jumped in to help where they could and my client was finally able to become a first time home buyer!
Long story short it truly does matter who you work with. I had the right people in my corner to help fix their mistakes. I am so happy that my client was able to close and has offically moved in today!!
