We found a pretty special place to enjoy Texas w**e right here in Cat Spring!🍷

We stopped by M3 Cellars to visit with CR and learn more about the w**ery, the w**es, and what makes this place so unique.

M3 Cellars makes Texas w**es from Texas fruit, along with California w**es. The Texas w**es have a white label, while the California w**es have a black label.

And coming up is their Battle of the Bottles - a blind tasting where five Texas w**es go head-to-head with five California w**es. Add meats and cheeses, dark chocolate, live music and great company, and it sounds like a pretty fun evening!

💼 Working for Us Wednesday!

This week we’re introducing you to Kailey, the new Marketing & Member Relations Manager at the Bellville Chamber of Commerce.

Kailey’s job is all about promoting local businesses and helping get the word out through social media, email, events and other community marketing.

The Chamber has also moved into a new location at 118 South Front Street, in the old Wehring Flooring building.

We’re glad to have Kailey here and look forward to seeing what she brings to the Chamber and our local businesses!

Tuesday Tip: Nellis Auction — Coastal Camp House Edition! 🐚🌴

As promised, Reesa said there would be more Nellis videos coming—and here’s the first one!

This time, she’s taking us through the Coastal Camp House to show off some of the things she’s found through Nellis Auction. From appliances and outdoor pieces to blinds, furniture and a few DIY fixes, there are quite a few finds to check out.

SUNDAY HISTORY 🏫

After wondering for more than 50 years, Reesa finally got to see what’s hiding underneath the old Bellville High School!

JD Higginbotham, Bellville ISD’s Maintenance Director and a Bellville native, takes us into the basement to uncover some of the building’s history, including the old coal chute, remnants of the original heating system, old bleacher seats, desks, and other relics left behind.

The basement even held several feet of water during Hurricane Harvey, damaging many of the items stored down there.

So after 50+ years of wondering… was the basement everything Reesa imagined? 👀

We stopped by Industry Communications to meet some of the team and hear the story behind a company many locals know as the old Industry Telephone Company and Industry I-Net.

Started in 1955 by C.S. and Thelma Ackley and their son Galen, the business has continued to grow while staying true to its local roots. Today, the fourth generation is part of the team and they’re continuing to bring fiber and modern technology to the communities they serve.

We loved hearing how this family business has evolved over the years, and how that same local connection is still such a big part of what they do today.

Remembering Shirley Biehunko through something she loved—chili cook-offs and giving back to kids in our community.❤️

Shirley was a Bellville ISD teacher for more than 30 years, and her sisters Lisa and Sherry are honoring her memory with a chili cook-off fundraiser benefiting scholarships for students at Bellville, Sealy, Columbus, Brazos and Faith Academy.

🌶️ Anyone can enter the chili cook-off—no chef experience needed! There’s even a lemonade competition just for the kids. 🍋
