5 Tips for Getting a Home Loan🌻

🌻Work on your credit score: Make sure you pay all your bills on time, and keep all your accounts current.

🌻Save for your down payment: It’s always good to get in touch with a lender months in advance before purchasing to discuss the different loan types and make sure you are saving up for that down payment/closing costs!

🌻Prepare your home documents: Your lender will be looking for things like pay stubs, credit history, tax returns, etc. when applying for a loan. Go ahead and start getting those ready ahead of time!

🌻Keep your down payment money where it is: It can be tempting to spend it, but try and keep it in a separate savings account along with extra for closing cost.

🌻Take to your mortgage loan originator: As mentioned before, I highly suggest getting in touch with a LOCAL lender ahead of time so you can be most prepared when shopping for homes 😊
