Congratulations to my niece and her sweet family on closing on their very first home! Officially homeowners!

Homeownership is no easy feat, especially at a young age. It’s a huge milestone that takes hard work, dedication, and commitment. This is something to be incredibly proud of.

Being able to help my own family find a home where they’ll build memories, celebrate milestones, and watch their family grow made this closing even more special for me. Moments like these remind me why I love what I do.

I am beyond proud of you all, and I can’t wait to watch your family fill this house with love, laughter, and so many unforgettable memories.

House hunting is supposed to be fun… until you accidentally fall in love with a house that’s already under contract.

Before you start scrolling Zillow at midnight, here are 10 mistakes I see buyers make all the time:

1. Looking at homes before getting pre-approved.
2. Falling in love with the first house they see.
3. Shopping at the very top of their budget.
4. Focusing on paint colors instead of the home’s potential.
5. Forgetting to check out the neighborhood.
6. Waiting too long to make an offer.
7. Thinking they can skip the home inspection.
