Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties or tasks may be assigned as required. Management may modify, change or add to the duties of this description at any time without notice.

1. Understand, "Housing First" and "Harm Reduction" philosophies and apply to specific duties.
2. Must be able to work independently and as a member of a team to effectively perform duties.
3. Consistently follow and enforce proper procedures and processes for conformance to standards under the direction of the Food Service Manager/Cook.
4. Prepare nutritious, appealing meals for tenants (40) under the direction of the Food Service Manager/Cook.
5. Maintain proper department sanitation following state and federal regulations.
6. Ensure that portion control, appearance and temperature of all food items is appropriate and of high quality.
7. Ensure timely meal service.

Preferred Experience:
This position requires a person who is self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as member of a team to carry out job duties. High school diploma or equivalent is required. This person must pass and maintain Minnesota Background Study clearance.

The Front Desk/Tenant Assistant – 2 position actively participates in carrying out the mission of CCHC by providing direct support to tenants of supportive housing buildings serving homeless families, youth, single adults and/or chronic public inebriates. The Front Desk/Tenant Assistant - 2 position is responsible for operating the front desk/entry point for the housing program. Front Desk/Tenant Assistant may be subject to assignment at other sites. The Front Desk/Tenant Assistant 2 provides services as a member of a team and implements the program goals based on "Housing First" and "Harm Reduction" philosophies. This person also provides safe tenant transportation using company-owned vehicle.

As the Front Desk/Tenant Assistant this individual is the first person with whom tenants, guests, suppliers and others have contact when coming into the building and is responsible for operating the front desk/entry point for the housing program, and as the Food Service Aide you would assist the Food Service Manager/Cook in the operation of the kitchen, providing nutritious, appealing meals for the tenants of the building.
Requirements:
This position requires a person who has interpersonal skills necessary to tactfully and professionally deal with tenants and the general public. Applicants must hold a high school diploma/GED equivalent and be able to pass and maintain Minnesota Background Study clearance. Valid driver's license with clean driving record is preferred.

Evening and night shifts available. Hours worked from 11pm to 8am qualify for shift differential of $0.50 per hour.

The Front Desk/Tenant Assistant will be the first person with whom tenants, guests, suppliers and others have contact when coming into the building. Duties include: granting admittance into the building, directing those who enter to correct areas of the building, and monitoring people’s whereabouts while in the building; enforcing house rules; maintaining information about people’s times of entry and exit; answering the building's telephone system and directing calls; monitoring the video surveillance system for the building; and simple cleaning in the public areas.
Requirements:
This position requires a person who has interpersonal skills necessary to tactfully and professionally deal with tenants and the general public. Applicants must hold a high school diploma/GED equivalent and be able to pass and maintain Minnesota Background Study clearance. Valid driver's license with clean driving record is preferred.
Starting at $11.00 - $11.75 per hour depending on shift and driving record
