Tiger Woods is building his next golf course 20 minutes from Fort Worth. Here’s what that actually means for this area. 🏌️‍♂️

Bluejack Ranch in Aledo — 914 acres, ~500 homes, an 18-hole Tiger Woods-designed course, spa, dining, tennis, pickleball. And they capped membership near 500 people. Intentionally exclusive.

But here’s the part most people aren’t talking about:

Developments like this don’t come alone. They attract upscale restaurants, medical offices, boutique retail — because that’s what follows rooftops in Texas. We’ve seen this pattern play out across the state.

More rooftops in Aledo ISD also means a growing tax base. And Aledo needs it — they’re one of the fastest-growing school districts in Texas and they are feeling every bit of that growth.

Traffic is worth watching too. US 377 and HWY 20 are the main arteries out here, and this area isn’t slowing down.

I live and work this corridor every day. I see what’s coming before most people do — and right now, this area is moving fast.

Fort Worth just shot up 33 spots in the national ParkScore rankings — and honestly, the parks earned it. 🌳🏆

The city of Fort Worth, according to their official news release this week, jumped 33 places in the Trust for Public Land’s (TPL) annual ParkScore Index — a national ranking that grades cities on how well residents can actually get to and enjoy parks.

What is ParkScore? It’s a scorecard that looks at how much park space a city has, how close people live to it, and how good the amenities are. Think of it as a report card for your city’s backyard. And Fort Worth? Just went from a C+ to a solid B, skipping past dozens of other cities.

Why this matters for YOU: Better parks mean better neighborhoods. Better neighborhoods mean people want to live here. More people wanting to live here means your home value keeps going up. It’s basically a “your investment is working” announcement from the city — and they didn’t even have to mention mortgages. 😄

Robert from Magnolia Fence and Patio called me his ringer today. Robert… buddy… I am so sorry in advance.

We’re about to tee off at Ridglea Country Club for the Benbrook Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Golf Tournament — and I am fired up.

Shotgun start at 9. Great local business owners. Beautiful course. And me… doing my absolute best out here.

A huge university campus is coming to west Fort Worth… and this could change Aledo, Walsh Ranch, and Parker County in a BIG way.

University of Texas at Arlington officially broke ground on UTA West — a new 51-acre campus near Walsh Ranch along I-20.

According to UTA:
🎓 The first building could open in 2028
📈 The full campus could serve up to 12,000 students
💰 UTA says the campus could create more than $200 million in economic impact in year one alone

That’s a LOT of growth coming west.

And when a university moves into an area, it brings more than students.

It can also bring:
👉 More jobs
👉 More restaurants and shops
👉 More homes
👉 More buyers
👉 More money moving through the area

That can affect:
🏡 Home values
🏘️ New development
📍 How many people want to move here

So no… “UT Aledo” is not the real name 😂
But this project IS real — and it’s a big sign of where growth is heading next.

Today was special.

Kelsey and I had the honor of attending the Fort Worth YMCA’s 136th Annual Community Luncheon — and I was incredibly humbled to be recognized as the Benbrook YMCA Volunteer of the Year.

The YMCA has been a meaningful part of my life for years now. Not just as a gym, but as a place where people come together to grow stronger — physically, mentally, spiritually, and as a community.

What stood out most today wasn’t the award, though I’m deeply grateful for it. It was the people in the room. Leaders. Volunteers. Coaches. Mentors. Donors. Everyday people quietly pouring themselves into others expecting nothing in return.

The food was great… but the company was the real delicacy.
Being surrounded by servant-hearted people is like stepping into a current of positive energy and purpose. It reminds you what community is supposed to feel like.

Thank you to the Benbrook YMCA, the Fort Worth YMCA, and every person who gives their time, talents, and heart to serving others. I’m proud to play a small role in something that impacts so many lives.

And thank you to Kelsey — my constant support, teammate, and best friend. ❤️
