I truly believe I have one of the best jobs in the world. 🤍
Being a real estate agent in Bend, Oregon has given me so much more than a career. It has given me the opportunity to meet some of the most incredible people, create friendships that I know will last far beyond the closing table, and be a small part of some of the biggest moments in people’s lives.
I’ve had the privilege of helping people buy their very first home, find the home they hope to raise their family in, purchase an investment property that helps build their future, relocate to a completely new area, and sell a home filled with years of memories so they can start their next chapter.
And that’s probably my favorite part about real estate — every person has a different story.
No two days are the same. No two transactions are the same. One day I’m handing keys to a first-time homebuyer who never thought homeownership would be possible, the next I’m walking acreage, negotiating an offer, getting a home ready to hit the market, solving a problem that came up during an inspection, or running across town for a last-minute showing.
It keeps you on your toes, and it definitely keeps life interesting. 😂
The hours can be endless. My schedule is rarely predictable. Weekends aren’t always weekends, vacations usually include a laptop, and sometimes my phone feels permanently attached to my hand. There are early mornings, late nights, stressful negotiations, unexpected problems, and plenty of moments where you have to figure things out as you go.
But I genuinely wouldn’t have it any other way.
Because at the end of all of it, I get to help people make decisions that can change their lives. I get to watch someone walk into a house and realize, “This is it.” I get to make the phone call telling someone their offer was accepted. I get to put a SOLD sign in front of a home after months of hard work. I get to hand over keys and watch a completely new chapter begin.
And I get to do all of that in Bend, Oregon — a place I absolutely love calling home myself.
Best job in the world. Best place to do it. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.
