Friday Five! 🖐
I'll be sharing small changes you can make to your home that can have a BIG impact.
Lighting plays a MAJOR role in the look and feel of your home, so today we're talking about lighting. 💡
Here we go: 👇
1. Swap lightbulbs to a different temperature. Depending on the room, you can choose cooler temperatures for alertness and warmer temperatures for relaxation.
For example, do you have cooler bulbs in your living room? Try swapping them out for a warmer bulb to promote relaxation. 🛋
2. Add more layers of light. If you only have ceiling lights, try adding floor lamps, side table lamps or task lighting. This gives a room ambience, brightens up darker areas such as corners and helps the eye to move around the room. 👀
3. Swap out light fixtures for a more modern style or finish. This goes for indoors and any exterior fixtures you have. If you have questions on what is trending in our area, ask me! 💬
4. Light up your walkways leading to your home. Solar lights are a quick and easy way to accomplish this. 💡
5. Light up the siding of your home. This creates curb appeal, lights up any foliage you have planted and lights up any dark areas around your home. 🏡
