Let’s talk about timing! ⏰ it’s literally everything…or is it? I don’t sugarcoat or gatekeep anything, so when I say the best time to list is the best time for YOU to list, I mean it. Life doesn’t wait for job transfers, weddings, babies, retirements, etc.
⭐️THERE’S NO PERFECT TIME TO LIST⭐️
Buying and selling in Bend, Oregon can be seasonal and ideally the timing lines up with a perfect sellers market but then…
how are rates, what’s the list price/sale price ratio, average days on market, what’s the condition of your home, whats your motivation for selling, what’s the market look like where you’re wanting to go? Theres so many factors to consider and there is no perfect time. Just perfect planning with the right professional.

1. Do a pre-listing inspection to address and get ahead of any concerns.
2. Consider market conditions and review comps with your agent (me) to position your home as a competitive option when it hits the market.
3. Stage if needed
4. Market to the masses. I can’t say this enough. You can’t just let an agent throw your home in MLS and wait for a buyer!! Make sure your agent has a plan of action to hit the market aggressively right out the gate!
5. Plan ahead for your new home. Lean on your agent to help you get set up with an agent in your new area ahead of time and they’ll work together to help make your move a smooth one!

If you’re new here OR just hitting my page. I want to say THANK YOU for being apart of my community! My goal is to share all things real estate and all that we love in and around Bend while allowing you to get to know me and my family and I hope to do the same with you❤️

My approach in my real estate business and life in general is simple, to treat my clients that way I do my family. I lead with integrity, open honest communication, setting realistic expectations, listening and ensuring my clients feel heard, safe and appreciated. I often tell my clients “I don’t sell homes, they sell themselves, I’m just the matchmaker”, and that’s a job I love and am grateful for everyday.

Buying a home is a HUGE investment, for most people, it’s their biggest. I don’t take that lightly. Choosing a realtor is a very important decision and I hope that my clients choose to work with me because they trust that I will always put their interest before my own, educating and protecting them every step of the way.

SO WHAT IS A BUYER REPRESENTATION AGREEMENT?
You’ve probably heard by now that in order to hire a REALTOR® to represent you, it is now legally required for home buyers to sign a Buyer Representation Agreement before searching for and purchasing a property.
While a Buyer Representation Agreement might sound intimidating it’s actually quite simple: a Buyer Representation Agreement is, in real estate, a contract between a home buyer and a real estate agent that outlines the duties and obligations of the agent to the buyer, as well as the expectations and responsibilities of the buyer to the agent.
Having a buyer’s agency agreement in place allows me to be your advocate and trusted advisor, and expertly guide you throughout the 100+ steps in your home-buying journey. It also transparently outlines the fees I charge for my services, how they can be paid, and exactly what you can expect when we work together.

I’m always interested to hear what buyers and sellers find to be most important when choosing a realtor. Is it marketing? Education and time in business? Communication?

I’ve heard a lot of past experiences from clients and one of the biggest complaints I hear is lack of communication. “Do what you say you’re gonna do, and keep me in the loop!” It’s that simple. As a real estate broker, I wear a lot of hats. My job is to minimize the stress of buying or selling, and a lot goes on behind the scenes. I love educating my clients on all the moving parts to their transaction, it makes them feel more a part of it.
