Real Estate markets nationwide have been the focus of FinCEN’s recent efforts to gain assistance in identifying transactions that could potentially involve fraud. As of March 1, 2026, FinCEN has required all settlement agents to Collect and Report data for non-financed/cash transactions involving the purchase of property under an entity name.

You have been instrumental in cooperating and showing great patience with us as we have worked to incorporate the necessary workflow systems needed to meet this requirement. Thank you for your support during this time of transition and helping us adhere to these government requirements.

On March 23, 2026, we were instructed to suspend all data collection and reporting activity until the findings of a recent judgement (U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas) can work its way through the appeal process. For this reason, and until further notice, we will temporarily be pausing the practice of asking for this information from you or the principals you represent.

We wanted to let you know that Microsoft 365 (Outlook) experienced a system-wide outage yesterday (Thursday, January 22nd) starting 11:00 AM through 1:00 AM (Friday, January 23rd) which prevented our offices from receiving external emails. This issue affected Microsoft users nationwide.

Although services have been restored, emails sent to us during that timeframe are unfortunately not recoverable. If you sent us an email during that time and have not received a response, please resend your message.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. Thank you for your continued trust.
