We hope you are not reading this. We hope you are not on social media. Instead, we hope you are present with your loved ones; family, friends and neighbors.
Our community has been shattered with the horrible events yesterday. We are heartbroken for the families who are suffering the unimaginable and wishing them peace and the space to grieve. We are thankful for the teachers and law enforcement for their daily commitment to the community and for the parent passing by who courageously took action.
As more information comes to light, let's please use constructive energy to heal and unify, rather than destructive energy to feed anger and division. Spend time with people you know in the real world rather than people you don't know online. Lend an ear, offer a hug, have a heart. Let's lift each other up as we move through this tragedy. 💜
