Trying on jeans…

One of the reasons I love working with buyers is that I’ve never really thought of my job as selling houses.

I think of it more like being the friend you’d take shopping for a great pair of jeans.

The friend who says, “Go try one more.”

The friend who notices you’re getting tired and says, “Let’s grab lunch. We can always come back.”

Every house you walk through is part of the process. Some help you discover what you don’t want. Others remind you what matters most.

None of them are wasted.

They’re how you recognize the one that fits.

You don’t have to know exactly what you’re looking for. Sometimes you just have to start trying things on.

I spent about 15 years working in advertising before I got into real estate.

One thing that still surprises me is how rarely homeowners ask to see a Realtor’s marketing before they hire them.

They ask about experience.

They ask about commission.

They ask about the market.

Almost nobody asks to see the work.

To me, that’s like hiring an architect without looking at a building they’ve designed.

Marketing has been my profession for most of my career. Real estate just gave me a different product to market.

If you’d like to learn more about how I approach marketing homes, there’s a link in my bio.

I love dog parks. I love a good home inspection. I love interesting neighborhoods, great local businesses, and the community I get to call home.

And I love being a Realtor because it allows me to bring all of those things together—helping people find not just a house, but a place and a community that feel right.

No pressure—just solid information, local knowledge, and hopefully a little fun along the way.

Two weekends ago, we spent our Sunday morning at Not’Cho Grandma’s Bingo, raising money for Bend Park & Recreation—and it was an absolute blast.💥🚀

Dusty and Stacia host this wild, high-energy fundraiser every Sunday morning at Silver Moon Brewing, partnering with a different local nonprofit and turning bingo into one giant party. Think hilarious hosts, a packed room, and an incredible ’80s and ’90s dance soundtrack. 🕺💃🏼

If you haven’t been yet, put it on your calendar. It might be the most fun you can have at a fundraiser before noon!!

🏡 We're heading back out this weekend for the COBA Tour of Homes!

We'll meet for coffee first, then caravan together to tour some of Central Oregon's newest homes. Whether you're actively house hunting, thinking about building someday, or just love great design, it's always a fun time.

If you'd like to join us, send me a DM and I'll let you know where we're meeting.

Hope to see you there! ☕🏠

Is your home breathing a little too much? 😮‍💨

Tiny air leaks around windows, framing, attic spaces, outlets, and other hidden gaps can make your home feel drafty, uncomfortable, dusty, and harder to heat or cool.

They can also give the outside world more ways to sneak in — pollen, bugs, smoke.

That’s where AeroBarrier comes in.

And it’s not just for new construction. AeroBarrier can also be used in existing homes to help seal the hidden leaks that are already affecting your comfort and air quality.

Instead of chasing every tiny leak by hand, AeroBarrier helps seal those hidden gaps throughout the home, creating a tighter, cleaner, more comfortable, better-functioning space.

Because before you upgrade equipment, add filters, or try to fix comfort issues…

Start by controlling the air.

One of my favorite “art galleries” in Bend isn’t technically an art gallery.

It’s Formation Stone.

I stop by from time to time and wander through the stone slabs like I’m walking through a museum. The polished rock, the movement, the color, the layers — each one feels like a landscape, an abstract painting, and a little piece of geologic history all at once.

Yes, they make incredible countertops.

But honestly? They’re also just beautiful to look at.

A reminder that sometimes the best art is hiding in plain sight — even in the places where people are picking finishes for a kitchen remodel.

Come join us for the WinterCreek Native Plant Garden Tour on Saturday, June 20th!

A few of us are meeting for coffee beforehand at Lone Pine Coffee — Eastside at 8:30 AM, then we’ll caravan together to the tour.

It should be a fun morning of coffee, native gardens, fresh ideas, and a little inspiration from what others in our community have been growing.

Want to join us?

Comment or DM me PLANTS and I’ll send you the meetup and ticket details.
