Today, Scouts from Pack 108 were honored to join Benicians Adopting Benicia in a meaningful Memorial Day tradition, placing American flags at the gravesites of veterans at the Benicia City Cemetery.

It was a powerful opportunity for our Scouts to learn the true meaning of service, sacrifice, and gratitude. Each flag represents a life dedicated to protecting the freedoms we enjoy every day.

We are incredibly proud of these young leaders for giving their time and showing such respect for those who served our country.

A special thank you to Benicians Adoptin Benicia for creating opportunities like this that help instill patriotism, community service, and remembrance in the next generation.

As Memorial Day approaches, we pause to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation.

Tonight my heart is so full. ❤️

I couldn’t be more proud, not only of James and Emily for their dedication, hard work, and commitment to ranking up in Cub Scouts, but also of the incredible dens I’ve had the privilege to help lead this year.

Watching our Bears become Webelos and our Lions become Tigers has been such a rewarding journey. These kids have shown growth, confidence, teamwork, kindness, and perseverance every single step of the way.

Scouting is so much more than earning patches or ranks. It’s about building character, leadership, friendships, and memories that will last a lifetime and getting to witness that firsthand has been truly special.

To all of our scouts and families: thank you for showing up, supporting one another, and making this experience so meaningful.
