Today marks the 12 year anniversary of opening our restaurant. We are humbled to be able to welcome you all into our little world over all these years. There is, however, a story I’d like to share that many of you may not know. In the years prior to opening, I had an idea. It’s taken on a number of different forms over the years but the concept itself has never left me. How could I take a simple food cart, something everyone has a reference point to, and make it my own? After twelve years of service, I’m thrilled to introduce Mikey’s Live Fire. No gas, no electrical, just open fire cooking serving a simple and delicious cuisine. As I progress through my conceptual development phase, (where I just think about stuff for a while and annoy my family,) I’ll be sure to keep you all updated with locations and menu ideas. Until then, here she is. A small utility trailer, given to me by my brother, with the goal of feeding as many people as I can. Thank you all for the last twelve years.
