I know my job is to literally sell the house but today was bittersweet for me. There’s no question how much I love this house and if you’ve ever talked real estate with me, you for sure had to see this beautiful old farmhouse in Pownal with 16 acres and the perfect amount of old charm and character! 😆

The more I went to 21 County Rd, the more I loved it. I’ve never seen so many rock walls on a property and could listen to the creek all day. I was determined to show the barns every time even if it meant cracking hands in the bitter cold while untying the ropes. I couldn’t get the separating door inside the barn open at first but after 2 months and 20+ showings, I pulled so hard that I fell on my butt in front of potential buyers and couldn’t help but lay there and smile with pride! I walked that entire property in snow, rain, and winds but never on a beautiful day. I was too busy playing with dogs and kids of buyers on those days while their parents went back in for a better look. I’ve played hide and seek with twin girls in the closets and planned to turn the hayfield into a baseball field with 3 brothers.

I have so many memories in the past 6 months that I can’t imagine what it would be like to live there…or yes I can…I’ve remodeled it in my head 100 times. I’m thankful for the opportunity and trust from the seller and I’m excited to see what the next chapter entails for County Rd and the new buyers! ❤️
