Annual ”Rafting for Rescue” fundraiser this weekend July 16th and 17th! Come out and show your support for our local heroes! It is a great year to do so after they were on the front line during the August 2021 flood that we are all recovering from! 50/50 raffle (tickets now available at Hometown Hardware in Canton, BearWaters Brewing Riverside, Canton Moose Lodge, and Pigeon River Outfitters), mock river rescue drills, emergency vehicles for young and those young at heart to explore, and much more! Pigeon River Outfitters and BearWaters Brewing will be donating part of the weekend proceeds to Haywood Rescue as well! The proceeds from the fundraiser will go toward new equipment and training. Come show your support this weekend and pick up your 50/50 raffle tickets that are now available at the specified locations ($1 each or $3 for 5).
