I wake up every morning or should I say MOST mornings for accuracy sake for INTERCESSORY PRAYER.

DEFINE Intercessor...a person who intervenes on behalf of another, especially by prayer.

I have never walked away from these morning sessions of prayer wondering..."What was that call about?" I take notes and I reflect.

This morning as I staggard into my bathroom to brush my teeth, wash my face and dial in (the number to dial and the code I listed above) I noticed I had a pounding headache. I am always alerted when I get a headache because they happen to me so rarely. And usually when I have them I have what I call "Zeppers." A wave of pain so intense and so sharp that start at the right temple of my head and whip around the back of my head with such force of motion, until my eyes hurt and water and my vision gets blurry. These zeppers are or have been untreatable by me and usually lands me in ER for a migrain shot. Then I may not have another incident 2, 3, 1 year...that's just how infrequent they are and like wise unpredictible.

But this morning I felt a pounding as I was dialing in, I put the code in and I heard the automated voice say..."The call has already began."

The next thing I hear is Dr. Judith McAllisters voice and she says...
Lord someone on the phone has a headache...

No soon as she spoke the word HEADACHE and as the sound ended...did my head STOP hurting. Glory to God!!!!

Dr. McAllister talked with us on it's time for us to Arise and be what God has called us to be...

Then she said You are covered in the Name of Jesus...

She asked us to call our OWN name out loud and say I am COVERED BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS...

I said Glenda you are COVERED BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS...and while I was saying my name Dr McAllister told us to call our families names...SPEAK IT...

I must admit...I had already started to call out names...I MAY EVEN HAVE CALLED OUT YOURS...

BUT JUST IN CASE I DIDN'T...in the comments...call out your name and as many people as you can think of...and proclaim that THEY ARE COVERED BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS...

I don't know about anyone else...but my 2023 was full of trials and tribulations. Health wise I was the sicker than I have ever been in my life. But through it all GOD kept me.

I depend on GOD for my very existence...but there are some things that he has delivered me from (by my own request) that by nature and without thinking I have fallen back into. Am I the only one?

I plan to use my Year Compass to look at ME...the mistakes I made because they were comfortable to me...those that I made because I was afraid of something different.

I don't know where you are...but I miss you.
Having you here in the building at Adkins Village really gave my heart joy. It made me feel my daughters presence even the more.
As I was cleaning my office I looked at this beautiful bouquet you made me. It is the most precious gift I have ever received in my life...
Because you made it out of spontaneity and thankfulness.
To me each one of you has a purpose and a appointment in life and it is the GATEWAY staff that assist you on that journey.
I would call names of the staff members but I fear that I would forget someone and each one of you are special in my site and the LORD'S.
Thank you Gateway for ALL that you did for my Jessica when she was part of your program and thank you for All that you continue to do. The gift of working with people who have special needs is just that...A GIFT.
I pray and hope one day you will be back in the building...chatting it up, cooking, making crafts and sharing them with my residents...just having you here made
our day...
