It abounds with wildlife and includes the best fishing in the region. Lake access and fishing is available only to property owners.

Attention Homeowners and Board Members:

Please be advised that Bryan Drew has granted one-time permission to a farmer to use a motor on our lake this afternoon. The farmer is working to pull a deceased cow out of the lake near the number nine golf hole.

We ask everyone to be understanding, as he is trying to help us resolve the situation as quickly and safely as possible.

If you see loose dogs please help us by calling animal control at (618) 439-9197.
I have received reports that the white pit bull has bitten someone previously. I stopped and spoke with the owners of the pit bull this morning. They are nice people but they are struggling to keep the dog inside due to a broken door. They feel the black lab running loose is in heat and contributing to their dogs behavior.
We’ve always been a community where people can walk safely and this loose dog problem has weighted heavily on my heart. I know we cherish our animals but we have to keep our community safe. Please call authorities if you see any loose dogs. (618) 439-9197

If you see vehicles labeled SIU in the neighborhood don’t be alarmed. Bryan Drew has agreed to allow Southern Illinois University to conduct a wildlife study on the vacant lots we own. They are specifically interested in documenting carnivores. Specifically: bob cats, coyotes, striped skunks, raccoons, red foxes and the rare grey fox. The PhD student spearheading the project has agreed to share his findings with us. We’re excited to see the trail cam footage. If this causes you any issues or concerns don’t hesitate to reach out.

Reminder: if you are a member of the Lake Moses Property Owner Association, there is an annual meeting tonight at Café Bloom. Attendance is not required but we would love to see you there.
Association 1 meets at 6:00pm
Association 2 (the newest homes) meet at 7:00pm

The last meeting was in 2019 and we need to update our mailing roster. If you did not receive a packet in the mail, we can email you one today or we’ll have extras at tonight’s meeting.
