Job Description :

Assists in daily surveying activities including: loading project equipment into trucks, cutting and clearing brush and trees from line of survey, properly operating GPS and conventional equipment used in the collection of data for surveying, marking points of measurements and placement of stakes at designated points, locating or establishing vertical and horizontal control, right of way, monuments, corners, boundaries, and property lines.
Position is outside and is a physical labor job. Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. or more, stand and/or walk while holding instruments in the field, stand, kneel and crouch. Other duties may be assigned. Full time position.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Experience with using the TDS or Carlson software or SDMS software, experience using RTK GPS and experience in boundary surveying are a plus, but not a requirement.
Requirements:
Works well with a team and must have good oral communication skills
Must have valid drivers license and pass a drug screening
Must be 18 yrs or older
