As an Iranian American, I value leaders who stand with integrity, reject unnecessary conflict, and respect the dignity of all people. Reza — himself an Iranian American — represents the kind of principled leadership our community has long hoped to see: someone who opposes reckless military escalation, resists the pressure of powerful lobbies, and believes in diplomacy over division.
At a time when fear and polarization shape too much of our politics, he chooses courage, fairness, and independent thinking. He speaks honestly, protects civil liberties, and refuses to let California be pulled into agendas that harm families here or abroad. His commitment to justice, accountability, and peaceful solutions reflects values many Iranians hold deeply — respect, wisdom, and a belief in humanity.
