Happy Kwanzaa!!! Kwanzaa is a week-long celebration of African heritage, culture, and The Seven Principles. It was created by Maulana Karenga in 1966 to unite and empower African Americans. The celebration involves gift giving, music, dancing, and communal feasts, called Karamu.

Merry Christmas!!! Christmas celebrates the birth of Jesus, and the holiday involves lots of food and gift giving. Also, the legend of Santa Claus originates from the stories of Saint Nicholas. Fun fact: the name Santa Claus evolved from the Dutch name Sinter Klaas for Saint Nicholas. I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday surrounded by love and light ❤️❄️🎄

Happy Hanukkah (aka Chanukah or the Festival of Lights)!!! This is an eight-day holiday that celebrates the rebellion of the Jewish people, called the Maccabees, who fought against their Greek-Syrian oppressors. The holiday is celebrated for each day the candle-light burned in the Holy Temple. Another fun fact is Hanukkah translates to "dedication" in Hebrew. ✡️🎉🕎
