It is a great honor to know Behnoush Babzani. I remember when she was first diagnosed with severe aplastic anemia at age 12 and again at 19. She was able to defeat the disease with the help and support of her family and friends, and developed a strength and outlook that I haven’t seen in many people — especially at her age. Since then, Behnoush has dedicated her life to serving her community as a social entrepreneur, public speaker, certified life coach and writer, inspiring people to have a positive outlook on life no matter what hardship they face.

For the last 26 years, I have had the privilege of living next door to Frank Davis, who sadly passed away at age 100 on May 19, 2021.

Mr. Davis was the inventor of PEGylation, which improves drug delivery and was used in Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines. He saved millions of lives with his invention and his contribution to humanity will continue to save lives for years to come. We miss you, Frank.
