The shock is not yet worn off for many of us upon learning of the tragedy that unfolded last Friday night in Oakland; the most lethal fire in the United States in over 10 years. As of now, the toll is at 36 lives cut short. There are many ways to show your support, and here is one of them. Thank you for caring and for giving back to and showing our community the pride, love and support we have for our brothers and sisters in this powerful time of need.

We are working with the Oakland Mayor's Office, The Red Cross and other fundraisers to be the main fund for this effort. We will work to use the Red Cross' knowledge of the appropriate format for distribution of these funds. We are working every minute to figure this out. Please keep sharing and...
