🏡 Fun Fact Friday: There’s a tiny town in Alaska where almost the ENTIRE population lives in one single building 😳❄️
Welcome to Whittier, Alaska — a remote town where most residents live inside a 14-story building called Begich Towers. Because of the extreme weather and freezing winters, the building was designed to function like its own mini city.
Inside, you’ll find apartments, a grocery store, post office, church, laundry facilities, and even access to the local school without residents needing to go outside. 🤯
Imagine living in a place where nearly everyone in town is basically your neighbor under one roof. Talk about close-knit community living. 😂🏡
