What is Library Giving Day?
Library Giving Day is a nationwide effort to inspire communities to contribute to the libraries that enrich lives through books, lifelong learning programs, technology access, and cultural events.
Our library is truly one of Bernardsville’s most valued community assets—recent results from the Borough’s Quality-of-Life survey showed that more than 80% of respondents identified the library as one of the community amenities they value most.
Donations of any size help sustain the programs, services, and welcoming spaces that benefit residents of all ages! All donations received today until 11:59PM
will count towards our goal!
As an added incentive, all donations received for Library Giving Day, up to $11,500, will be matched 100% by a Community Matching Grant from 23 generous Bernardsville Library Foundation supporters:
Donna Baier Stein, Karen Brodsky, Jack and Michelle Burke,
Kevin and Sarah Canberg, Joan Contess, Tom and Patrice Cummings, Richard and Susan Diegnan, Aaron and Carolyn Duff, Wolf and Debbie Heimerl, Drs. Neill and Julia Johnson, Mark and Therese Krook, John and Polly La Duc, Ernest and Veronica Larini, Justin and Anne Lynch, Ken and Shikha Mayer, Susan Miller,
Dan and Janet George Murnick, Michael and Maria Myers,
Peter and Kathleen Palmer, Gregory and Wendy Supron,
Craig and Nancy Verduin, Richard and Pat Vieser,
and one family who wishes to remain anonymous.
The Bernardsville Library Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable organization whose mission is to enable the outstanding Bernardsville Public Library to continue to operate at a level of excellence without regard to fluctuations in public funding.
