The latest NAR Pending Home Sales Report caught my attention: pending home sales in August edged up by 0.3% from the previous month, even as they dipped 4.7% compared to last year. The South and West saw some positive movement, while the Northeast and Midwest experienced a decline. Each region, though, faced year-over-year decreases, reflecting the impact of higher mortgage rates.
