The lower court’s refusal to reinstate our hearing effectively denies our request for a Temporary Restraining Order or Preliminary Injunction to protect VA gun owners.

We are asking the VA Supreme Court to step in and force the lower court to hear our request for emergency protection.

George Washington University sold its 122-acre Virginia campus in Ashburn to Amazon Web Services for $427 million, $3.5 million per acre. The sale is part of GW's strategy to strengthen its financial health and invest in its academic mission. The university can operate programs there for another five years. Amazon has not disclosed plans for the property.

The Circuit Court recently shared information about the new Virginia Deed Alert program, a free tool available to all Virginia property owners to help fight property fraud.

The system allows you to sign up for email alerts tied to your name, business name, and/or Tax Map/Parcel ID number. It was suggested that property owners register both their names and parcel numbers for additional monitoring. If a deed or other land record document is recorded matching your information, you will receive a notification.
