AVANCE Global 2026 🌎🏡✨
A few years ago, you could have NEVER told me I’d be sitting in the rooms I sat in this past week, surrounded by nearly 6,000 industry professionals from across the country and beyond. And honestly? I still have moments where I look around and think, “Damn… look at me.” 🥹❤️
When I first joined NAHREP as a committee member, I had absolutely NO idea what I was getting myself into. 😂
Truthfully, I only joined because I didn’t like the music at the first NAHREP Gala I attended in 2022. 🤣 So I commented on a NAHREP Chicago post:
“How do I get on the team that picks the music?” 🎶😂
Michelle Flores responded QUICKLY. The next day, we jumped on a call… and almost five years later, here I am, heading into my second year on the NAHREP Chicago Executive Board. ❤️💙
Talk about a plot twist. 😂
This past week at AVANCE Global, I was surrounded by some of the brightest, most passionate, and most driven people in our industry. Thousands of leaders came together around capital, leadership, Latino prosperity, building wealth, and creating opportunities for our communities.
And let me tell you… there is NOTHING like being in a room full of people who understand the assignment.
I already work with and learn from some of the best every single day because, as we say:
“Dime con quién andas y te diré quién eres.” 😉
In every career I’ve ever had, I’ve always pushed myself to learn, grow, and be the best I can be.
As an EMT, I had the privilege of serving and caring for our senior community.
As an Accountant, I worked alongside small Latino business owners helping navigate and maintain their business financials.
And now, as a Realtor, I get to help families navigate one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives while helping our communities build and preserve wealth.
Different careers, different chapters, but the mission has always been the same:
Serve. Educate. Empower.
This industry is NOT for the weak. It takes knowledge, resilience, grit, relationships, and a genuine commitment to helping our communities build wealth and close a gap that has existed for generations.
One thing I heard repeatedly this week was the incredible economic impact of the Latino community and how much our communities contribute to the strength of this country.
So let’s continue to be LOUD. Passionate. Educated. Present. Involved.
Let’s continue learning.
Let’s continue building businesses.
Let’s continue creating generational wealth.
Let’s continue opening doors for the people coming behind us.
And let’s continue showing up at the table…

I’m incredibly grateful for the people who opened doors for me, the people who continue to pour into me, and the people who remind me that there is always another level to reach.
And to my babies, my family, my community, and especially my Mama…
Look at me, I made it. 🥹❤️
And I’m nowhere near done.
