We're excited to share how Build My Future is making a difference for students like William Blaine, a Kickapoo High School senior awarded a $1,000 scholarship to pursue construction management. Inspired by the hands-on activities at the Springfield event, William discovered his passion for skilled trades and leadership on construction job sites.

On October 23, 2024, students will have the unique opportunity to dive into hands-on activities in the construction industry—carpentry, welding, heavy equipment operation, and more. This event is an excellent way for students to explore career paths and has helped many secure internships and jobs, all while learning essential skills.

NL Holdings and Nail Excavating will be there, giving students the chance to engage with industry professionals and discover new interests. We’re excited to be part of this impactful event—see you at the Northwest Missouri State Fairgrounds!

🔨🏗️ Get ready for Build My Future! Join us on October 23, 2024, from 9 AM to 2 PM at the Northwest Missouri State Fairgrounds for an exciting day of hands-on learning in the construction industry. Students will dive into activities like carpentry, concrete/asphalt mixing, heavy equipment operation, surveying, welding, and more. With five hours of educational displays, equipment operations, and learning labs provided by our industry partners, this is a fantastic opportunity for students to explore potential careers. Lunch is provided! PLEASE contact Mrs. Hagan to get signed up! We can't wait to welcome your students for a day full of learning and discovery. 🛠️👷‍♀️👷‍♂️
