🏡❤️ This Is One of the Reasons I Love My Profession So Much…
Sometimes, being a Realtor is about so much more than buying or selling a home. Sometimes, it’s about the people you meet along the way and the relationships that grow from the experience.
I recently had the privilege of working with a wonderful mother and daughter, Karen and her daughter, Lisa, who were the Executors of Karen’s sister’s & Lisa's aunt’s home.
When Karen first reached out to me, we didn’t know each other personally. She told me they were interviewing Realtors to find the right person to list the home, and they wanted to know what else they could do to make the property as appealing as possible to potential buyers.
They had already put so much thought, time, and effort into the home, including numerous updates and replacements. When I met with them, I immediately knew we were going to work well together. They were open-minded, receptive, involved, and genuinely committed to doing what was best for the home.
We met a second time, continued talking, exchanging ideas, and discussing possibilities. And then came the phone calls…lots of phone calls! 😊 We shared thoughts, talked through decisions, and stayed connected as we worked toward the goal.
Almost a year later, we finally had the opportunity to put the beautifully completed home on the market. And when it was ready, it was READY! ✨🏡
The home went under agreement quickly, and thankfully, everything continued to fall into place throughout the transaction.
But what I will remember most isn’t just the successful sale.
It’s the relationship that developed along the way.
We started as people who didn’t know one another, brought together because of a home that needed to be sold. Somewhere along the journey, that professional relationship became something much more meaningful.
I have a feeling Karen; Lisa and I will be keeping in touch for a very long time. ❤️
And that, right there, is one of the many reasons I love what I do.
I’m grateful for every client who trusts me with their home, their questions, their decisions, and sometimes, a very important chapter in their lives.
