I had to share this thought in the moment before it got buried under my own to-do list.

I think so many of us spend our days managing the urgent task list of work, kids, appointments, errands, the endless mental load, and then making space to think about what’s next becomes a luxury.

That’s exactly why I’m heading out to meet a friend for coffee.

She doesn’t have to move.

But life has changed, and she’s starting to wonder if her home should change with it… whether there’s something that’s a better fit for where they are now and where they’re headed next.

The problem is, because it’s not urgent, it’s easy to say, “We’ll think about it next year.”

And then next year becomes another year.

You don’t have to be ready before you reach out to me.

In fact, I think that’s the best time.

Let me do the homework. I’ll keep an eye on the market, help you understand what your home is worth, and place opportunities in your lap as they come along.

No pressure. No expectation.

Just one less thing on your mental load… and someone in your corner whenever the timing feels right. ♡

One of the best parts of my job is knowing Bethesda through the decades and getting to help others call it home. A little nostalgia for the Bethesda kids ❤️😉.

There are a lot of great agents out there, which is why this recognition feels especially meaningful.

I’m incredibly grateful to be named a 2026 Washingtonian Top Agent and honored to be recognized as a top individual agent.

Almost 20 years ago, my mom and I started this journey together. We worked hard and believed that if we always put people first, we’d build something worth being proud of.

Looking back, the numbers and awards are wonderful milestones, but they aren’t what stay with me.

It’s the clients who still text me years later. The referrals from friends and family. The people who trusted me during exciting moments, stressful moments, and everything in between.

That’s the part of this career I treasure most.

To everyone who’s chosen me to help guide one of life’s biggest decisions: thank you 🙏 . Your trust has shaped my career more than you’ll ever know.

And Mom…thanks for taking that leap with me all those years ago. I still feel lucky that we got to build this together. ♡.

One of the best parts of moving to Bethesda or Potomac? Pool life. ☀️

Neighborhood swim clubs are a big part of the community, but figuring out which ones have availability can be overwhelming. I hope this Summer 2026 guide helps make it a little easier.

I found this photo from 11 years ago today, and it made me smile. ❤️

These days, Independence Day makes me think less about fireworks and more about the hope that my girls grow up feeling free to become exactly who they’re meant to be.

And after 20 years of helping people find a place to call home, I hope we continue building communities where everyone has that opportunity.

Wishing everyone a safe and happy Fourth of July.

If you live or work near Bethesda, mark your calendar — Metro’s Red Line shuts down between North Bethesda and Friendship Heights from July 6 to September 6 for major construction (a new Purple Line connection, platform upgrades, and track maintenance). That means Bethesda, Medical Center, and Grosvenor-Strathmore stations are all affected for two full months.

Free shuttle buses will fill the gap every 5-8 minutes, but plan for extra commute time — and watch for new bus-only lanes on Rockville Pike. MARC train is also offering half-price fares through Labor Day, and Capital Bikeshare is giving Montgomery County residents a free 30-day membership during the closure.

As your local Bethesda agent, I like keeping clients in the loop on anything that touches daily life here. Swipe through for the full breakdown, and DM me if you want to talk about how this affects your commute or your move.

JUST SOLD

One of my favorite reminders that you never know who’s watching.

The eventual buyers weren’t even in the market for a home. They simply came across this listing and realized it checked every single box of what they had hoped to renovate into their next house.

That’s the power of putting a home in front of the right audience.

Congratulations to my wonderful sellers as they begin an exciting new chapter, and congratulations to the new homeowners who found exactly what they didn’t know they were looking for.

Well, this one feels especially meaningful.

I’m honored to be recognized as a 2026 RealTrends Verified Top Agent by Volume.

This year also marks nearly 20 years in real estate, a career that began when my mom and I decided to take the leap together. What started as a shared adventure became nearly two decades of learning, growing, celebrating wins, navigating challenges, and helping clients through some of the biggest moments of their lives.

I owe so much of this journey to her. She’s been my teammate, sounding board, and partner through it all, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without her.

While awards are nice, what I’m most grateful for are the relationships. So many of my clients have become friends, and so much of my business comes from referrals from people who trust me with the people they care about most.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me, referred me, and trusted me along the way. I never take that trust for granted.

❤️ Emily
