Imagine my surprise… actually, no surprise at all… when I walked through the mall and didn’t see a single Haitian flag.
There is a large Haitian community that lives around this mall, along with Haitian-owned restaurants and businesses nearby. Many of us shop here regularly. I personally spend thousands of dollars here on a monthly basis.
Yet Haiti was the one flag missing while so many other Caribbean and South American countries were represented. Do better!
