As a local Bethesda Realtor, I think this is a great example of how real estate decisions can shape a neighborhood. Thanks to Sandy Spring Builders, Brown’s Store will once again become a neighborhood deli. Rather than pursuing a fast-food drive-through concept, the property is returning to a use that feels much more connected to the surrounding community and the history of this Bethesda landmark. Like many native Bethesda residents, I grew up going to Brown and happy it remains apart of our communityThanks Phil and Mimi and to Craig Hillman, a Bethesda resident who purchased the property.
