Between 2000 and 2008, Zelda served on the Board of Directors for National Capital Bank. She became the first woman to hold a seat on the Board in the institution's 100-year history. Zelda's other roles include board membership at the Musical Theater Center, motivational speaking engagements, and her production of a benefit for the N.I.H. In 2000, she co-authored "Deadly Truth", a historical novel set in apartheid-era South Africa.
