Sometimes the best part of real estate has absolutely nothing to do with real estate. 🦋💜

I stopped by one of my Seller’s homes to check on the progress of the kitchen and bathroom renovations and found this beauty hovering over what I believe is a butterfly bush.

Of course, I had to stop and take it in for a minute.

And then I realized…this actually has EVERYTHING to do with real estate.

Because getting a home ready for the market isn’t just about putting a sign in the yard and uploading photos to the MLS.

✅ It’s about preparation.
✅ It’s walking the property.
✅ Checking on renovations.
✅ Making decisions about what’s worth doing and what isn’t.
✅ Watching the details.
✅ And making sure that when buyers finally walk through the door, the home is ready to make the best possible first impression.

This one is getting closer! The kitchen and bathroom renovations and misc touches are almost completed, and if everything stays on schedule, we’ll be hitting the market in about three weeks. 🏡

Until we'll, I’ll keep checking on the renovations…and apparently the local wildlife too. 😂🦋

Any butterfly experts out there? Is this actually a butterfly bush? And bonus points if you can tell me what kind of butterfly stopped by!

I could not be happier for my buyer! After exploring Frederick County, from Baker Park to New Market, she has chosen a gorgeous detached home in the beautiful, amenity-rich Bloomfields community!

With picturesque mountain views for miles and activities right at your fingertips, it’s going to be an incredible place to call home. ❤️

I’m so grateful she has entrusted me to document the progress and oversee things here in Maryland while she heads back west to prepare for her move to the East Coast.

Now, we’re off to the Design Center today to add the finishing touches to her beautiful new build! 🏡✨

☕ Starting my morning with an “Ask Me Anything” session for some of our agents!

One of the things I value most about mentoring is creating opportunities for agents to ask questions, share experiences, and learn from one another.

Real Estate is definitely not one-size-fits-all. Everyone in the room is at a different stage of their business, which means everyone brings a different perspective to the table. Sometimes the best learning comes from hearing a question you didn’t even know you needed to ask or hearing how another agent handled a situation you haven't encountered yet.

Today is simply about open conversation, real-world questions, shared experiences, and helping each other grow.

I may be hosting, but I have no doubt we'll all walk away having learned something from each other. ❤️

There is always something more to learn in this business. 🏠📕

Fosters are needed for adult cats, kittens, moms with kittens, and adult dogs. We will supply you with everything you'll need to care for your fosters -- supplies, food, toys, bedding, litter, veterinary care. You provide the loving home environment and care! Even a week or two of fostering could really help us and the animals out! If you live within an hour's drive of the shelter, please sign up to foster!

Adopters -- we have two great adoption specials happening right now! All cats 6 months and older are just $5 to adopt and come spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped! Whoa...there were moments when we weren't sure we'd get here, but we did! 🙌
