Did you know the city offers a special collection service for solid waste customers who are moving or have a large amount of waste to get rid of after cleaning out a basement or attic?

This special service allows customers to pay a flat fee of $40.00 for the collection of excess household waste, instead of purchasing extra garbage stickers, which can become costly.

The fee covers one trip to collect up to 5 cubic yards of waste (about 80 thirty-three-gallon garbage bags, or roughly one large pickup truck load).

There are some limitations to the program.
