While I didn't at the time understand that owning real estate, whether you're a first-time buyer, exchanging properties, or investing, has proven to be one of the greatest creators of wealth. I have been fortunate enough to be in all three of those categories in my adult life, the first-time homebuyer, exchanged up to bigger and better primary residences and invested in rental and property flips.
