ASK YAWAR: MADONNA’S MATERIAL WORLD, PART 4 🇬🇧👑

MADONNA DIDN’T JUST MOVE TO LONDON… SHE PRACTICALLY BOUGHT THE BLOCK. 😳🏡💷

London has long been one of Madonna’s favorite cities, and during her British era, the Queen of Pop reportedly built up a portfolio of SIX properties across the city. 🇬🇧✨

The crown jewel? 👑 A grand Georgian townhouse in Marylebone.

But apparently one townhouse wasn’t enough.

She reportedly bought the 10-BEDROOM HOUSE NEXT DOOR for more than £6 MILLION. 🤯

Yes… NEXT DOOR.

Because when Madonna needs more closet space, she doesn’t call a contractor. She buys the neighbor’s house. 😂👠

Add in nearby mews houses and other London properties, and the Material Girl had herself a very material London real estate empire. 🏡🏡🏡

FROM MATERIAL GIRL TO… FARM GIRL?! 🌾👀

For Part 3 of Ask Yawar, we’re leaving Manhattan behind and heading to the HAMPTONS, where Madonna created a seriously impressive escape in Bridgehampton.

It started with a 30-acre horse farm 🐎… but this is Madonna. Why stop at 30?

She reportedly added neighboring land, growing her Hamptons holdings to nearly 60 ACRES. 🤯

Then came the custom estate.

Some rooms remind you exactly why your network matters.

Throwing it back to the Christie’s International Real Estate Agent Summit in Chicago, where I had the incredible honor of speaking for the second time.

Since joining Christie’s, one of the most meaningful parts of the experience has been the people. The friendships, referrals, collaborations, and connections I’ve made through this network have been extraordinary. These are relationships that extend far beyond real estate, and that is what makes this community so special.

Speaking at the Summit again was a real privilege, and the feedback I received afterward was incredibly meaningful. I’m always happy to share what’s working in my business, but some of the best moments come from the conversations that happen afterward and the ideas we exchange with one another.

A huge thank you to the Christie’s team and everyone behind the Summit for inviting me back and for creating a space where agents can connect, learn, share, and grow together.

Madonna bought THREE NYC townhouses… and turned them into ONE.

Because apparently one Manhattan townhouse just wasn’t enough for the Queen of Pop.

For Part 2 of Ask Yawar: Madonna’s Material World, we’re heading to the Upper East Side, where Madonna reportedly spent around $32 MILLION on a property that combines three townhouses into one massive, 57-foot-wide private residence.

And the details are very Madonna.

13 bedrooms. 14 bathrooms. 9 fireplaces. An elevator. A wine cellar. A gym and dance studio. And a 3,000-square-foot private garden.

IN MANHATTAN.

And nearly two decades later? She reportedly still owns it.

$400,000 OVER ASKING. Yes, you read that right.

For this Tossback Tuesday, I’m revisiting one of my favorite sales of the year: 1345 Carnarvon Drive in Pasadena.

This incredible 1962 Mid-Century Modern had never been on the market before. Designed by architect Alfred H. Noble Jr., the home sits on nearly half an acre in coveted Linda Vista and is everything I love about great California architecture: walls of glass, soaring ceilings, beautiful indoor-outdoor flow and character you simply can’t recreate.

Listed at $2.4 million. Sold for $2.8 million. That’s roughly 17% OVER ASKING.

Proof that when a truly special house meets the right buyer, great real estate still gets people fighting for the keys.

Very excited and truly honored to be heading to Chicago next week to speak at the Christie’s International Real Estate Agents Summit! 🎤✨

One of the things I love most about this business is sharing what’s working, exchanging ideas and collaborating with other agents. If something I’ve learned can help someone else grow their business, I’m always happy to share it. And I’m just as excited to learn from everyone else in the room.

This will be my second time speaking at a Christie’s conference, after taking the stage in Beverly Hills two years ago. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to do it again.

This is exactly why I love SB 79.

If California needs more housing, why wouldn’t we build it where the public transportation already exists?

More density near transit means:
more homes, less sprawl, shorter commutes and access to neighborhoods that have been closed off to new housing for decades.

And yes — some neighborhoods are going to change.

Good.

Cities are supposed to evolve.

We cannot keep saying we have a housing crisis while protecting every neighborhood from actually building housing.

Open up the neighborhoods. Build near transit. Let more people in.
