Just finished the morning office meeting and walking along the beautiful California beach the first time since the wildfires. Here are some information and thoughts from the meeting and other professionals For those of you looking for a rental right now:

1. Don’t worry whether it is furnished or unfurnished. You can buy or lease furniture quickly and for not a lot of money.

2. Don’t be picky. No place is perfect. If you find a place that will work well enough, go for it. You’re not marrying this home. It’s temporary.

3. Realtors can only represent you on homes listed on the MLS. Look on all listing services Zillow.com, Craigslist.net, apartments.com and the websites of local property management companies to make sure you aren’t missing out on anything.

4. When working with a realtor, work with one that is well-liked and has a good network of contacts. It’s going to be competitive for a while.

We are going to get through this. It’s going to get better.

California is still beautiful and is going to be even greater !
