This Architect Designed The Estates That Defined California Romance.

Emerging in Southern California during the golden age of Hollywood, Wallace Neff became one of the most influential architects behind the visual identity of luxury California living. His work fused Mediterranean revival, Spanish romanticism, and the emerging indoor-outdoor lifestyle that would later define the region itself.

In Beverly Hills, Neff’s remodeling of Pickfair transformed the legendary estate of Douglas Fairbanks and Mary Pickford into one of the most iconic homes of Old Hollywood.
