Our founder, Jenarda Makupson, began her real estate journey at just 19 years old, flipping her first home. Over the next decade, she continued rehabbing and selling properties, gaining hands-on experience in every stage of the process. In 2005, she became a Loan Originator, helping families secure financing—until the 2008 market crash shifted her focus. Determined to stay in real estate, she transitioned into property management, a field she’s excelled in from 2008 to today. Along the way, she earned her real estate license in 2016 and her broker’s license in 2023, building Kingdom Keys Realty into a trusted, full-service firm. Her work also includes managing over 10 investor fix-and-flip projects, revitalizing communities, and successfully selling luxury properties. Today, she brings all of this experience together to provide clients and agents with a one-stop solution for all things real estate.

Los Angeles Can Build Homes and Protect Green Space
As someone who’s spent years helping clients navigate the complexities of Los Angeles real estate, I’m always interested in projects that balance growth and quality of life. Right now, the city is considering 398 new homes—223 rentals, with 32 units designed for seniors—on about 20 acres in Woodland Hills. But the location raises big questions: it’s in a very high fire hazard zone, right next to a hillside neighborhood with evacuation challenges. City Planning is reviewing if this development fits an amended state housing law, which could streamline approvals and limit community input. Meanwhile, LA County’s public golf courses—20 courses at 18 facilities, with over a million rounds played each year—are a reminder that recreation and green space matter, too. For Los Angeles to truly benefit, we need housing solutions that include safe access, resilient infrastructure, protection for habitats, thoughtful preservation of green areas, and drought-friendly landscaping. In my experience, smart development should create value for both homeowners and our communities.
