What Your Art Says About You

The art we choose is rarely random.

Abstract art often attracts people who are comfortable with possibility. They are curious, independent thinkers who see opportunity where others see uncertainty. They tend to embrace interpretation rather than needing a single answer.

Figurative art often resonates with those who value connection, storytelling, and emotion. They are drawn to the human experience and appreciate art that reflects life, relationships, and meaning.

Whether you realize it or not, the pieces you bring into your home often reflect how you see the world, what inspires you, and even who you aspire to become.

Art is more than decoration. It’s a reflection of identity.

Incredible trip to Bali and one we’ll never forget.
From the peaceful jungles of Ubud and the breathtaking beauty of the Four Seasons Sayan, to exploring ancient temples, experiencing the spirituality that makes Bali so special, and getting engaged in one of the most beautiful places on earth, every moment felt unforgettable.

We spent time relaxing by the ocean, enjoying incredible food, world class spas, and some of the kindest people we’ve ever met. From the Four Seasons at Jimbaran Bay to the Ritz Carlton, every stop was amazing in its own way.
Beautiful landscapes, beautiful culture, and memories that will stay with us forever. Bali, we’ll definitely be back.

For most of my life, I thought something was wrong with me.

I remember looking in the mirror and asking myself, “Why me?” I wished I was different. I wished I was normal. I believed the things I was told. That I was broken. That I was a sin. That if I prayed hard enough, maybe one day I would change.

The truth is, I was never broken.

What broke me was the shame. The fear. The loneliness. The feeling that I had to hide who I was from the people I loved most.

There were years when I hated myself. Years when I used alcohol and drugs to cope. Years when I felt completely alone.

But little by little, I started doing the work. I started learning how to love every part of myself, including the parts I had spent years trying to hide.

And something incredible happened.

The more I accepted myself, the more my life started coming together. My relationship with my family healed. My career flourished. My happiness returned. And eventually, I met the love of my life.

Today, I look at those old photos and wish I could hug that little boy and tell him:

“You were never broken. You were always enough.”

If there’s one thing I hope people take away from this post, it’s this:

Be kind.

You never know what someone is carrying. You never know what battles they’re fighting in silence. One comment, one judgment, one cruel word can stay with someone for years.

Not all families look the same. Love is the only ingredient required.

And we are not born with hate. We are born with love.

Happy Pride Month to everyone still learning to love themselves, exactly as they are. ❤️🌈

Modern vs. Traditional Homes
What Your Taste in Architecture Secretly Says About You

The homes we’re drawn to usually reflect the way we move through life.
People who love modern architecture tend to value clarity, control, efficiency, ambition, and forward thinking. They’re often drawn to clean lines, open spaces, innovation, and environments that feel calm, intentional, and elevated.

People who gravitate toward traditional homes are usually more connected to warmth, legacy, comfort, detail, and emotional connection. Traditional architecture often appeals to people who value history, family, familiarity, and spaces that feel grounded and timeless.

At the end of the day, architecture is psychology built into a home. The style you love might actually say more about you than your personality test ever could.

Chavez Ravine was once a thriving hillside community of Mexican American families, small businesses, and schools long before it became home to Dodger Stadium.

Through displacement, redevelopment, and one of the most debated land transformations in Los Angeles history, the neighborhood was permanently reshaped into one of the city’s most recognizable landmarks.

Its story remains a powerful reminder that real estate is often deeply connected to culture, community, and the long lasting impact of urban change.

Los Angeles is a city constantly shaped by reinvention, and neighborhoods such as Bunker Hill, Sugar Hill, and Chavez Ravine tell the story of how dramatically the landscape has evolved over time.

From Victorian mansions and historic cultural centers to communities displaced by redevelopment, these areas reveal how architecture, policy, and growth have continuously reshaped the city’s identity.

Understanding the history behind these neighborhoods offers important perspective on the forces that still influence Los Angeles real estate today.
