Assume the house is listening.
Front door cameras are standard now, and most have microphones. Audio carries to the driveway and the front walk, the exact places buyers stop and start talking honestly.
We represented a seller whose camera caught two buyers after a showing. One loved the house. The other talked through changes they would make. Days later, multiple offers came in at nearly identical numbers. The seller remembered the hesitation and chose the other couple.
There is nothing wrong with loving a house. The seller just does not need to know how much you love it before you negotiate.
Ask questions. Look carefully. Just save the talk about price, criticism and how badly you want it for somewhere the house cannot hear it.
